Customs Cooridnator

Our growing Customs team based in Felixstowe are looking for an experienced Customs Coordinator to support with customs clearances, complete export declarations and ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Customs Team Leader, you will work alongside your colleagues to ensure all customs clearances are actioned on goods departing the UK.

Using internal systems, you will process export declarations, ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is maintained to prevent any errors or oversights on documentation.

You will have the opportunity to participate in Customs related projects and support with creating innovative solutions and share best practices and knowledge.

Working hours are Monday to Friday - 08:30 17:00 but flexibility is allowed.

Our ideal candidate will need to have experience working in a Export Customs role or similar and have knowledge in HM Revenue & customs. You'll need to understand and implement best practice within your role to ensure compliance is maintained, being proactive and efficient in your communication with customers, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
