Customs Operations Manager

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday Shift times: 0900 - 1700 Location: Rugby - CV23 0XF DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Customs Operations Manager to play a vital role managing the Customs and NDNS teams within the Control Tower facilitating the movement of orders cross border for the customer. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Lead the Customs team managing Export & Import activity along with query resolution, Proof of Exports and tax queries.
• Lead the NDNS team managing document checking activity along with vendor relationships, training and bookings.
• Accountable for Engagement, Employee development and Succession planning across the Customs & NDNS teams.
• Responsible for the relationship with Planning, Hauliers and Warehouse to manage the cross border movements and queries.
• Responsible for broker management, engagement and regular reviews of performance.
