Full Job Description

  • Conducting pre-acquisition due diligence and advising Air Sector's FalconWorks® line of business on cyber-related risks associated with acquisitions
  • Supporting recent acquisition entity assessments against customer and BAE Systems cyber security requirements, policies and standards
  • Conduct cyber risk assessments of recently acquired entities at organisation and system levels, and provide recommendations for improvements to reduce identified risks
  • Manage integration of newly acquired entities into BAE Systems cyber governance structure
  • Provide ongoing advice and guidance to support entities across the entirety of cyber governance, risk and compliance
  • Reporting KPIs and KRIs to line of business leaders and Air Sector Cyber Security Team

    Experience of implementing cyber/information security standards
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent worked experience) preferably in information or cyber security
  • Professional Cyber/Information Security qualifications, such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)/Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage workloads and change in demanding & dynamic environments
  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 or similar standards/frameworks

    FalconWorks® is a fast growing research and development line of business within BAE Systems Air Sector. The Entities Cyber Governance Team is a newly forming team, within the wider Air Cyber Security Team, that will provide support to FalconWorks® line of business and its acquired entities to support reduction of cyber risks and integration into BAE Systems Group.
