Full Job Description

Your security expertise will be crucial in supporting our Cyber Security team to safeguard our information assets. You help manage cyber security risks, perform security assessments of third-party suppliers, and ensure compliance with security requirements. Please note that we are also recruiting separately for a Cyber Security Manager. WHY JOIN US? Your main role will be supporting project change (more on that below), which means that you will not only have a varied workload, but you will also be exposed to everything that goes on in the wider team. You will be among the first to see what is upcoming and will get fantastic exposure and experience. Based in our Wellingborough head office, you will also enjoy the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.,

  • Providing consultancy services for security projects, ensuring that security requirements are integrated into project plans and deliverables.
  • Security risk and control management, ensuring security risks are effectively identified, assessed, and managed in accordance with the Group Risk Management Framework.
  • Contributing to the strategy and roadmaps for Information Security, and supporting its delivery
  • Assisting adherence to Governance, Risk and Compliance procedures including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and Data Protection.

    A working understanding of the technical terminology and how translate this to Cyber Security
  • Understanding of risk management and promoting risk culture.
  • Understanding of applicable laws and standards such as Data Protection Laws, SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST.
  • Ability to articulate security concepts to stakeholders and fostering a security aware culture.
  • IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE
  • Experience in tech/software engineering with Agile methodologies.
  • Certifications in at least one of: CRISC, CISM, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor.
  • Cyber Security related degree or equivalent.

    Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) Benefits include:
