Full Job Description
- Monitor security alerts and incidents; analyse data and trends to identify potential security threats.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement incident response plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to contain and mitigate security incidents.
- Hold security awareness training programmes for staff.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Create and maintain security documentation, including security procedures, guidelines, and knowledge base articles.
- Most of these task are performed for our clients.
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field. - 1-3 years of experience in a cyber security role.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools.
- Good to have one or more relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH).
- Proficiency in security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).
- Understanding of network protocols and operating systems.
- Expertise in security assessments and penetration testing tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
