Join Collins Aerospace as a Cyber Security Graduate and step into the world of cybersecurity within the aerospace industry. Based in Wolverhampton, you'll work alongside our dedicated cybersecurity team, gaining hands-on experience in monitoring, analysis, and information protection while building a foundation for a rewarding career in cybersecurity. What You'll Do In this entry-level role, you'll support our Digital Technology team across key cybersecurity areas, including:

  • Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Assist in monitoring alerts and incidents with SIEM tools, investigate potential security threats, and collaborate with teams to mitigate incidents.
  • Vulnerability Assessment & Risk Management: Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments, enhance vulnerability management processes, and support the development of remediation plans.
  • Threat Intelligence & Analysis: Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, supporting the team in analyzing potential impacts.
  • Policy & Documentation: Help improve cybersecurity policies, maintain documentation, and prepare security reports for management.
  • Security Awareness & Training: Assist in delivering security awareness programs and conduct training sessions to reinforce the importance of information security across teams.
  • Technology & Tools Support: Configure and maintain cybersecurity tools, support annual Cyber Essentials audits, and ensure the effectiveness of our security technologies.

    Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and familiarity with cybersecurity tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM systems).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, with some experience in programming or scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Cisco CCNA Cyber Ops are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for continuous learning in cybersecurity.

  • Starting salary of £30,000
