Full Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in West Sussex to assist with the appointment of a CYPL Coordinator, on a 7-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., Dealing effectively with enquiries from different channels, for example members of the public, customers, service users, internal departments, and professionals from other agencies.
Gathering and accurately recording highly sensitive and confidential data on the designated databases, collating key information relating to Childrens Social Care and partner agencies.
Providing guidance and advice to all enquiries in a timely manner. Taking ownership of enquiries and providing feedback on progress and outcomes ensuring contacts are escalated if appropriate.
Demonstrating a clear understanding of the meaning of safeguarding and escalations where appropriate, as defined in relevant policy guidance.
Managing appropriate contacts quickly and efficiently enabling a professional decision to be made by the relevant workers within set timescales.

GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification or experience operating at this level of literacy and numeracy.
A recognised qualification in office skills or administration, or a business related subject at level 2 or 3 of the national qualifications framework, or have acquired equivalent experience within the workplace.
Experience of providing business support, advice and/or guidance to others.
