Full Job Description

Required from November 2024, a Technician to provide technical and administrative support and practical assistance, primarily to the Design & Technology and Art departments but with flexibility to support other departments as required., Preparing classrooms and workshops for use by staff and students, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment

Assisting and supporting teaching staff in delivering practical activities in lessons

Working with teaching staff in the creation of teaching resources and materials

Maintaining, cleaning and repairing equipment (seeking specialist assistance when necessary) in order to ensure safe and efficient operation

A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic Technician from November 2024. The post is 37 hours per week, term time only plus 2 additional INSET days. The successful candidate should be confident in the use of technical and practical equipment and with an interest in design, technology, art and craftsmanship.
