DAF Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician Apprenticeship

Working alongside qualified technicians who will be dealing with all aspects of the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles. Level 3 Apprenticeship. Inspecting and repairing a range of heavy vehicles (HVs) and trailers for dealerships, independent garages and franchise and large fleet operators.

What you'll do at work

Not only will Apprentices be working and be trained at a HTC garage they will attend City of Bristol College four times a year for two week periods to work towards their Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. An advisor will visit at least every six weeks as part of a close support network to ensure that Apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their course. An Apprentice's training includes:

• Functional skills if needed in maths & English


Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

GCSE or equivalent in:

• English & Maths (grade 4 or above)
