And please kindly note that this is a December/early January start and whilst the role is predominantly Daily, the candidate will be required to live-in two nights per week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays).

HOURS:

~ During term time, working Monday to Friday: Live-in 2 nights a week (Tuesday & Wednesday nights) and Daily the other days.

~ During the school holidays working Monday to Friday 09.00 - 20.00 when in London and 24 hours on call when travelling.

This role is to provide seamless care with other household staff, and would suit a highly competent, formally-trained candidate with a proven track-record of working well within a formal family. This is a VIP family, and the household is fully staffed, organised and peaceful, it is very important for the new Nanny/Governess to work harmoniously within a team setting. Clear communication and excellent organisational skills are paramount, as well as a passionate worth ethic and friendly yet discreet professional disposition.

The role is very child-focused; nanny will be organising age-appropriate activities, researching new classes and events and discussing proposed ideas with parents and also learning opportunities in line with the school curriculum. This role is predominantly for the little boy, but there may be some cross-overs with the older child and her nannies. The new candidate will be responsible for all duties pertaining to the children, liaising with the other nannies as necessary.

The right candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children where they can continue to develop and grow with the family. The parents take a keen interest in their children's' progress so the new Nanny/Governess should keep the household updated, with open communication at all times and ensuring that the nanny team in the household are appraised of activities and events.

The family encourage their Nanny-Governesses to work proactively together to prepare themed activities outlined in a weekly plan, as well as continuing to nature and support their children's learning & development through a positive, explanatory "Montessori approach".

Due to their work schedules, the family prefer short-bursts of luxury travel, usually within fully-staffed accommodation or hotels and travel is evenly distributed throughout the year. The new candidate will be required to do some of the travel with her employers (including ski, beach & city destinations) and a swimmer is essential as the family also have a pool at their London home. Someone who can ski is beneficial, although not an essential requirement.

And a top salary package will be offered to a candidate with QTS/PGCE (or similar) qualifications and it is essential the new Nanny/Governess has previous experience of working in a formal, fully staffed formal household.
