Full Job Description

  • Data Collection & Management: Gather, organise, and maintain key data related to trainee progress, staff performance, and operational metrics across the organisation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse data and generate insightful reports that help inform strategic decisions. This includes performance tracking, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to enhance teaching quality and operational efficiency.
  • School Census Submission: Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of the school census, ensuring compliance with government guidelines and reporting requirements.
  • Data Systems Development & Management: Ensure the proper functionality of ELAM's data management systems, including data integrity, security, and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with the leadership team, curriculum and specialist departments to provide data support, ensuring accurate monitoring and reporting of KPIs such as attendance, trainee outcomes, and recruitment targets.
  • Improvement of Data Processes: Identify opportunities to optimise data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance the overall effectiveness of ELAM's operations and educational delivery.

    Proven Experience: Strong experience in data analysis, preferably within an educational setting or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Google Sheets (Excel), and data visualisation tools (e.g., LookerStudio, PowerBI, Tableau). Knowledge of educational data systems and management tools as well as Apps Script is a plus.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to manage large data sets with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions based on data insights, working iteratively with a solutions-focused manner.
  • Strong Communicator: Taking a consultative approach first, ensuring that clarity is gained through clear and thoughtful communication with relevant stakeholders.
