Full Job Description
As a Data Analyst, you will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to data protection, information security, health and safety, and safeguarding within the Validations department at Trinity. You will check and analyse result data, validate test results for both traditional and digital tests, and provide essential psychometric support and statistical analysis for assessments, which is a key part of the role. You will also gather, clean, collate, and analyse assessment data and draft reports for a variety of purposes while assisting the Head of Validation in related projects or tasks.
- Day-to-day implementation of validation processes (including date checking, statistical analysis, and so on) to generate valid and reliable results on time for assessment products.
- Working with the data scientist and data engineer, regularly implementing analytical processes and producing reports on test quality, item quality, candidate performance, examiner performance, etc.
- Working with the Data Scientist and Data Engineer, assisting with or conducting data analysis, draughting reports.
- Supporting business tenders, product audits, recognitions, and so forth with data, statistics, and analytical evidence, and visualising data to address ad-hoc requests from stakeholders.
- Working with the data scientist and data engineer, engaging in the development, review, and improvement of the analytical methodologies, models, methods, and processes for new or existing assessment products.
Degree educated preferably with a focus on educational assessment, psychometrics, language testing or statistics. - Working knowledge of educational assessments, especially in high-stakes English language tests.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise and time-manage tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
