Position: Data Analyst Contract Type: Permanent Location: Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry (3 days per week office based) Shift: Full-time / 37.5 hours per week Why choose DHL eCommerce UK? About the role: Ensure the business is running off data that is accurate and reliable, and use the data to provide key insights and performance reports to drive business performance in a data lead organisation. Work with the business to understand performance metrics and how data can be improved/used to enhance financial performance.

  • Analyse business intelligence data from different sources to inform business and product decisions
  • Support development of Power BI reporting suite to ensure we have clear visibility on all data that drives performance KPI's
  • Manage internal and external data sets and conduct respective (management) reporting
  • Create and implement policies and procedures regarding collating and analysing data, develop new data analysis processes and assess analytics on an ongoing basis
  • Assist monitor day to day trends to identify patterns in recorded data and support developing a predictive, real-time model-based insights for decision-making
  • Manage senior stakeholders across the DHL eCommerce UK business to communicate information effectively, conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Work with business to ensure all performance measures reported are understood, and the data is being used effectively to drive performance
  • Identify data / reporting gaps required by Stakeholders to drive/understand performance
  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 4 years data analyst experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, VBA & SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of Power BI is preferred
  • Experience in databases, data visualisation, data protection, big data, mathematics, statistics,
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Presentation and storytelling skills
  • Knowledge of python programming and predictive modelling is preferred by not essential (on-job learning will be required if there is no existing knowledge)
