Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the digital directorate for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic data analyst to join our team. The post holder's main role will be to help support the information needs and objectives of the gastroenterology directorate. They will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting a range of data from a number of trust information systems and using this to produce reports and inform the decision making of the directorate leadership team.
The post holder will also assist with day-to-day system management of the trust's endoscopy reporting system andwill be responsible for providing audit data and evidence to the Joint Advisory Committee on GI Endoscopy (JAG).
There will also be opportunities to be involved in other programmes of work within the digital directorate.
Main duties of the job
To facilitate and provide analytical expertise to the Gastroenterology directorate.
To produce routine reports and respond to ad-hoc requests for a variety of audiences, ensuring that responses are produced in a timely manner and are consistent with existing reporting requirements.
To investigate problems and issues reported against systems, logging calls with suppliers as necessary.
To assist with management of system users.
To assist in the development of clinical dashboards, utilising new technologies and presentational formats to deliver information to end-users.
To assist in the maintenance of accurate databases and continuous development of data validation checks.
To assist with planning for system upgrades and testing prior to implementation.
To provide analytical support to the wider digital directorate as required.
