Full Job Description
As Data Analyst (Highway Development) you will provide a crucial role supporting the wider team to ensure Gloucestershire remains a desirable location where people want to live, work, and visit. You will provide crucial support by maintaining the file management system (currently MasterGov) to ensure the team works efficiently, processing and presenting financial, and various other reports from the file management system and supporting with section 106 developer contributions for highway improvements.
This is an exciting time for a talented, self-motivated individual to join a team and County Council going from strength-to-strength, affording you the opportunities to make genuinely positive contributions to both your team and the local area, with opportunities to grow personally and professionally., To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate relative skills and experience within the fields of data management, including inter alia creation, storage, analysis and visualisation. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of products, be able to develop reports using Structured Query Language (SQL) and utilise other standard database management tools. You must be familiar with highways, planning, and section 106 legal agreements, be capable of working and learning autonomously and possess high levels of integrity and attention to detail. You will need to be personable and professional, with a proven track record of providing support in a data management environment. You will bring your problem-solving skills and customer-focused nature to a talented team delivering a crucial service.
