In the GE Vernova Gas Power Analytics & Digital engineering team, based in Rugby, we are constantly evaluating methods and algorithms that offer the opportunity to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering design and analysis tools and processes. About the Work
We require for a Data Analytics intern. This role will include the study of data management techniques for our engineering applications, under the direction of our team members. The scope of work is expected to be, but not limited to
- Perform literature searches on Anomaly Detection techniques.
- Methods development
- Methods application
- Post-graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning or Data Science.
- Experience in developing Data Analytics models.
- Experience with Anomaly Detection techniques.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good, adaptable team worker, eager to learn and develop.
- Ability and confidence to work independently.
- Existing permit to work in UK.
- Starting date: November 2024
- Duration: Up to 12 months
- Location: Work will be based at GE Vernova Power, Rugby,Warwickshire. CV21 1BD (remote working will be an option).
- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Holiday: 2 days per month
- Payment: Based on GE internship salary scale
