Full Job Description

The Data Architect (DA) is responsible for the definition, development, and delivery of the organisations data, business intelligence and database solutions to meet the current and future needs of the Trust, as well as the enterprise-wide management and support of the Trusts database estate and associated data pipelines.

This position is critical to the Trust and IT Department due to the large number of complex clinical applications in use across the Trust and the associate business and clinical dependence on these systems. The post will also be integral to the Trusts EPR programme, and its associated data and database requirements.

The DA reports to the Digital Health Product Development Manager, and will line manage a team of staff directly involved in the management of data, encompassing areas such as database administration, integration, and software development, and will provide support and guidance, and act as a mentor to colleagues within Digital Health., The DA reports to the Digital Health Product Development Manager, and will line manage a team of staff directly involved in the management of data, encompassing areas such as database administration, integration, and software development, and will provide support and guidance, and act as a mentor to colleagues within Digital Health.
