Full Job Description

With an excellent understanding of media & entertainment licensing agreements, the Data Cleanse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing data cleanse activities across several business areas, ensuring all migration critical tasks identified and addressed prior to migration. As part of the role you will be responsible for analysing and reviewing complex licensing agreements and understanding how these have been set up in ITV's existing systems. This is required to identify areas where the data quality, accuracy and usability can be improved as part of ITV's migration to a new Sales & Licensing platform. The role would be ideally suited to someone with a background working for an international distributor in either Sales & Licensing or Legal & Business Affairs; and, who is equally comfortable working across both business and technical domains as a core responsibility of the position will be to analyse, understand and organise large sets of media industry data.,

  • Track and coordinate cleansing activities across the RACS programme, ensuring cleansing of migration critical activities are prioritised and completed on time
  • Work closely with the RACS implementation team and the GP Sales Business Lead to understand the scope and ambition of the RACS transformation programme at ITV and, specifically, the importance of the data cleanse and migration workstream within it
  • Be the central person for facilitating conversations across all business areas (Sales, Rights In, Royalties, Finance and Catalogue), and raising risks/issues to the RACS Programme team where appropriate.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the proposed data structures for each of the different licence types in ITV's new Sales & Licensing platform (Rightsline)
  • Develop a good, high-level, awareness for how to navigate and use ITV's current Sales & Licensing solution (PARIS)
  • Help analyse exports of licence data from PARIS to identify and advise on where opportunities exist to migrate data, captured as free text in current system, into structured system fields in the new Sales & Licensing system
  • Work with the data cleanse and migration team, along with a team of Sales Coordinators to make updates to licence agreements in ITV's existing Sales & Licensing system to improve data quality in order to meet required data specifications for migration
  • Act as a key point of contact for enquiries from RACS data cleanse and migration leads
  • Provide regular updates to RACS and Sales Operations on progress of the data cleanse and migration activities, including identifying and tracking any risks and dependencies to senior stakeholders
  • Working closely with both ITV Sales and the Legal & Business Affairs teams, review how specific terms for key ITV licences have been captured in PARIS to identify: 1. where there are potential discrepancies between signed licences and what has been captured in the system 2. Where there are opportunities to improve data quality, making it more consistent and more reportable

    Demonstrable experience in coordinating a project
  • Demonstrable experience of working in Sales and Licensing or Legal and Business Affairs within the Media and Entertainment sector
  • Strong understanding of Content and IP licencing agreements, including a comprehensive knowledge of industry standard market terms and definitions
  • Self-starter, able to prioritise and manage tasks and deadlines across multiple projects concurrently.
  • Hands on experience of working with Rights Management solutions to systemise media licensing agreements
  • Experience of working on data analysis and migration programmes preferred but not essential
