An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, driven and highly motivated data coordinator to play an integral role in supporting the implementation of an all new and innovative end-to-end scheduling and reporting system within the Cardio-Respiratory and Vascular diagnostics department at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a 15 month, fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave, to support the smooth and seamless transition from a paper heavy to paper light digital scheduling and reporting service utilising a never been used before system unique to the Cardio-Respiratory department and to the Trust.
This role will also encompass some line management duties such as appraisals, training and return to work discussions within the admin team.
This is a demanding role requiring a high level of concentration and accuracy and will involve sustained periods of independent work involving data collection, processing and meeting deadlines.
You will work with a high degree of autonomy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the confidence to work effectively. A flexible approach to the changing workload is required, as is the ability to prioritise your own workload to meet service need., The post holder will be responsible for managing all data streams, creating and maintaining statistical data and reports to support the Cardio-Respiratory department to deliver a quality data driven service.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the digitisation work streams across the CVIS digital systems, including a significant role in the implementation of these digital systems and training in the operation of the digitisation system for the Cardio-Respiratory administration and clinical teams.
The post holder will provide admin lead responsibility for the Cardio-Respiratory clinic coordinators and administration team, including managing all training, appraisals and recruitment for this team.
A significant part of the role will require the post holder to utilise Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL server and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of local hospital and community services for people across East Cheshire (population 399K) and West Cheshire and Chester boroughs (population 357K).
