Full Job Description

As the Distribution Data Engagement Lead, we are looking for a talented and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment to join our team.

Candidates should have excelled at an (re)insurance broker or carrier, or related field; or demonstrated a keen interest in risk management industries.

We are looking for a proactive individual who takes ownership over initiatives and drives execution with limited oversight.

What can you expect?

Utilise tools such as Power BI, Excel, Databricks to gather and analyse data from various sources uncovering valuable insights, trends, and patterns.

Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards tailored to the specific requirements of the Global Distribution Team, providing reinsurer behaviour analysis for a variety of stakeholders.

Perform ad hoc analyses to address distribution-related challenges and support data-driven decision-making processes.

Source requirements for complex and customized reports working with regional stakeholders to deliver deeper understanding of reinsurer behaviors and optimal placement strategies.

Provide training and support to regional stakeholders to ensure maximum utilization of available market intelligence.

Works closely with the Distribution Data owner and data strategy resources.

Prioritize assigned projects & requests by need, with guidance from managers.

Manages surveys and visualization of results for deeper market insights.

Build understanding of reinsurance context and data application to maximize effectiveness of insights and reporting.

Interest in understanding driving factors behind analysis results and ability to internally communicate findings with appropriate business context.

Aptitude for structuring reports / visualizations to easily communicate key takeaways.

Provides training to other employees on advanced and complex reporting concepts, as needed.

Prepares documentation for report specifications or Quality Assurance testing. Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (Broking, Data Strategy, Finance and Operations).

What you need to have :

Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.

Demonstrated problem solving and project management abilities. Experience executing strategic and operational initiatives

Organized and systemic approach to identifying and solving problems.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Self-directed and self-motivated

Demonstrated ability to conduct complex analysis on high volume of data, interpret findings, and provide actionable insights.

Flexibility to work in a Hybrid environment and maintain consistent communication with the team.

Experience with BI visualization tools specifically PowerBI and working knowledge of DAX code;

Basic level of proficiency with Python / SQL

MS Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel).
