Full Job Description
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes using integration tools.
- Manage data pipelines, ensuring the timely and accurate flow of data from sources such as APIs, Magento, various databases (sql, mySQL, Postgres, Dynamo DB) & Google Analytics to the data warehouse.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the data warehouse using Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement data governance and security measures.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Implement data modelling best practices to support analytical reporting and business intelligence needs.
- Develop and maintain data models, interactive reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI / SSRS.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data quality and accessibility.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices.
5+ Years of experience in a similar role. - Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, produce requirements / solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Be able to demonstrate good understanding of business operations and strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and without supervision.
- Experienced in the Microsoft BI Stack, including SQL Server, Synapse / Fabric
- Experience of Microsoft Azure and other cloud vendors.
- Advanced SQL & DAX knowledge including performance tuning.
- Able to extract & process data from APIs using python or other language.
- Experienced in the design & build of data warehouses / Data Lakes including structured / semi-structured and unstructured datasets.
- Highly proficient in data modelling.

Using the Microsoft BI Stack, you will be involved in maintaining both on-premise solutions as well as designing and migrating the solutions to the cloud.
