Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint a Data and Examinations Manager on a one-year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. In this pivotal role, you will directly contribute to our students' academic success by ensuring the smooth running of exams and effective data management to support their achievements. As the Data and Examinations Manager, you will lead the Exam Invigilation Team, ensuring exams are conducted securely, efficiently, and professionally. Your leadership will be key to maintaining high standards in this critical function. Key responsibilities

  • Managing school data systems and supporting Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in tracking student progress.
  • Overseeing internal and external exams, and managing exam entries, invigilation, and results.
  • Producing and analysing data to support strategic decision-making.
  • What we are looking for:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to the success of students.
  • Experience or knowledge of examination procedures and legislation (or a willingness to learn).
  • Strong ICT skills, with the ability to manage, manipulate, and interpret data.
  • Ability to work flexibly, particularly during public exams.
  • Leadership skills to manage and delegate to the Exam Invigilation Team.
  • Hours: 35 hours a week, 42 weeks a year (term time only + 5 Inset Days + 3 weeks during school closure periods) Prendergast Vale is a vibrant, all-through school (nursery to Year 11) and rated Good by Ofsted.
