Full Job Description

Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, motivated, and efficient individual to join as key member of the team to deliver a high standard of service. You will be expected to provide Carter Jonas with an efficient and effective centralised service to maximise success with tenders, provide an advantage over competitors and ensure client specific KPIs are met. The key focus of this role is data analysis, data manipulation and data extraction., allowing you to choose those that suit your personal circumstances including purchasing additional leave, health cash plans, cycle to work scheme and so on! In addition, we welcome applications from those seeking flexible or agile working arrangements and can be discussed at the application stage. Key tasks:

  • Analysing WIP figures from Business Central, working with large amounts of data, manipulating the information, formatting and
  • filtering.
  • Processing invoices for sending to clients
  • Invoice tracking
  • Liaising with clients, job managers and credit control to manage bad debts.
  • Providing support to the team with streamlining processes and reporting
  • Reporting on a weekly / monthly basis to the team meeting
  • Cross charging / consultant breakdown reporting
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth accounting
  • Liaising with internal customer with regards to billing
  • Working closely with the Carter Jonas Finance department
  • Processing expenses
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly and annual reporting

    You will need strong IT skills with advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, v-lookup, advanced formatting and
  • filtering/conditional formatting). Experience within a busy finance environment; analysing and manipulating large amounts of data, dealing with invoicing, credit control and purchase orders is advantageous. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage client relationships. As a strong team player, you need the ability to work in a busy environment, comfortable with multi-tasking, communicating directly with internal stakeholders and external contractors and working under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage and build strong client relationships, as well as having the confidence to use your initiative and manage your workload effectively.
