Full Job Description

As a Data Governance Analyst we are looking for someone ,who will work closely with our Data Governance Team, with a primary focus on Management Information to support our Data Maturity Framework and drive action plans to enhance data maturity and ensure that Cadent data assets are managed effectively and comply with industry best practices and regulations. Have good understanding of the principles of data governance and best practices with proficiency in data management and reporting tools, such as Informatica, Power BI, or Tableau., Responsible for development, periodic review, and maturity of data policies, standards, and principles for the use of, and management of Data.
- Accountable for the implementation of policies, procedures, structures, roles, and responsibilities as set out by the Head of Data for Cadent.
- Working with Data Stewards, and other data specialists on growing data management capabilities to ensure effectives and adoption of the processes, tools and procedures in place, ensuring consistency of data improvement activities across the organization.
- Champion the data management knowledge across the Data Stewardship network and its purpose at Cadent.
- Responsible for implementation and monitoring of Data Maturity actions allowing to quantify the growth of the data management capabilities and ensuring transparency and visibility of framework to the stakeholders.
- A champion for data management and governance across the organization. Supporting the Data Governance Manager to bring the right business and technology stakeholders to the table.
- Part of a team accountable for the development, maintenance and implementation of the Information Management Framework, and enterprise data governance policies and standards.

Operational familiarity with software and solutions for data management and governance for example data catalogues, data quality, business glossary.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills with colleagues and Data Stewards and Owners
- Good written and verbal communications skills, ability to present to teams and individuals at different levels of the organization and explain technical subjects in a way that delivers understanding
- Formal document writing
- Good administrative skills, writing notes, memos, tracking actions, projects logs, etc.
- Nice to have
- Relevant industry sector certification
- Experience of working in an enterprise setting with company-wide coverage
- Experience of undertaking audits, maturity reviews or similar and understanding importance of the data governance bodies across the organization
