Full Job Description

The Data Governance Analyst role is a multifaceted one which will see you involved in many aspects of the Data Governance Office's responsibilities. You will undertake data discovery work, including running workshops to understand and document business processes and data flows. You will work with teams and services across the organisation to identify and solve data-related issues, shape and implement solutions that align with data governance policies.
In this role you will work collaboratively with data stewards to provide additional support and expertise across a number of disciplines, including data quality, metadata management and master data. You will also be an advocate for good data quality management practices and support the education of colleagues fostering adoption of best practice where required.
As a Data Governance Analyst, you'll work close with the Data Governance manager to deliver a wide range of projects that enable the organisation to understand and solve data problems, embed best practice, and get greater value from its data. This is an exciting and varied role which will require a range of complementary skills and the ability to see the 'big picture' in terms of data throughout its lifecycle.
