Full Job Description
- Support the development and implementation of Sky's Data Management Strategy and Operating Model whilst ensuring alignment to our broader Sky Data Strategy
- Partner with Data and Analytics colleagues to deliver Data Management initiatives
- Support the design of frameworks and operating models for Data Management Capabilities whilst ensuring alignment with wider Comcast and Sky Group
- Support with design and delivery of Data Management tools (e.g. Atlan, Anomolo, Collibra, Informatica, etc)
- Collaborate with both Business and Technical teams (e.g. Architecture, Engineering and Technology) to influence embedding of Data Management best practice
- Advocate for Data Management best practice and actively support the education of colleagues at all levels, fostering the adoption of Data Management best practice
- Stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies in Data Management, providing valuable insights and actively contributing to Data Management innovation
Enthusiasm for Data Management with a willingness to learn and contribute to multiple Data Management initiatives. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to drive improvements across Data Management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complexity and insights to various stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address root causes of data issues.
- Working knowledge across Data Management capabilities and the Data Lifecycle.
- Some experience and awareness of Data Management technologies and tooling e.g. Collibra, GCP Data Catalog & Data Fusion, Atlan, Anomolo, etc.
- Working knowledge of Cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Meticulous attention to detail in supporting the implementation of Data Management policies and frameworks.
