Full Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Data Migration and Quality Analyst to join our team, based in Worcester. The main purpose of this role is to improve the quality of data assets across the enterprise supporting the Group to define, measure, understand and act upon data quality metrics, delivering operational efficiency and enabling innovative analytics and AI using trusted, high quality data. The role of Data Migration and Quality Analyst will include:

  • Design, develop, test and execute all data extractions, transformations, cleansing and consolidation routines
  • Produce comprehensive, accurate and timely data migration specifications, including mapping documents at a data item level, for data enhancements and migration between systems
  • Support in the delivery of high quality and cost effective data services across the Group, focussing on the design, creation, testing and migration of data
  • Support continuous quality improvement of data collection methods and analysis for efficiency and process streamlining purposes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and challenges within business units

    Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
  • Practical experience in use of SAP data migration tools in a project environment
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing migration methodologies, tools and approaches
  • Experience designing data migration orchestration and ETL (extraction, curation, and transformation logics)
  • Proven experience of investigating and modelling application database structures
  • Experience of working across multiple teams and departments using knowledge gained to influence the strategic direction

  • Role salary is £36,680 with an additional policy allowance of £6,892 per annum (rising to £38,611 with an additional policy allowance of £7,255 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
