• System Designer / Data Modeler with 7+ years' experience designing data models (conceptual and logical) for data centric applications.
• Expertise in Object and Class modelling, class hierarchies, and defining relationships between classes.
• Proficiency in UML (Unified Modelling Language) for diagramming and designing object models.
• Understanding of ORM (Object Relational Mapping) concepts and ability to utilize them to create efficient and optimized mappings.
• Ability to analyse complex business concepts to derive conceptual and logical data models.
• Strong proficiency in SQL to analyse large and complex set of data.
• Familiarity with SDLC process, version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders..
You'll have:
• Experience/background in Java (or C#, Python, or other OOP languages).
• Experience with database schema design, normalization, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL processes.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and system design principles, including microservices, service-oriented architecture, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of Finance Industry Models such as FpML.
