The national patient safety team is responsible for delivering statutory patient safety duties across the NHS. These are

The post holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, high quality administration and data quality related support to the Patient Safety Team including undertaking data cleansing, comparing data from different sources to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy of patient safety data and outputs. This requires a flexible and positive approach to work with the ability to plan and maintain your own workload.

With demonstrable experience using IT software such as Microsoft Office, you will support management by producing regular reports on data quality issues and on activities in the team, such as the type and volume of customer request for data.

Attention to detail and high-level communication skills are key as you will be a first point of contact and will liaise with internal staff, the general public and external bodies and customers.
