Applications are invited for a Data Officer, to work with the Programmes and Communications teams to identify and cultivate potential students and alumni for the department.
The post involves a range of data management and curation activities and processes, carried out to create, manage, maintain, and validate data throughout its lifecycle. This includes the provision, analysis, and visualisation of data for internal and external use. The successful applicant will also be involved in the continued development and enhancement of reporting functionality across our systems (for which training will be available). Responsibilities will include managing student and alumni data, ensuring GDPR compliance and accuracy and developing effective reporting and data segmentation to support student recruitment and alumni activities.
This post offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong data handling skills, initiative and a desire to learn new IT skills using new software. Specialist training will be provided depending on the needs of the role holder. You will need to be a good communicator, able to work well in a team, and anticipate the support that will be required to ensure that recruitment and alumni targets can be achieved.
