Full Job Description

Under the Data Protection Act data subjects have a right to have access to and copies of their records, this role is to assist in the provision of these records

You will be required to work as part of a small team, communicating effectively and courteously with a wide range of internal and external personnel.

You will be involved in all aspects of locating personal files both physical and electronic and preparing them for disclosure to a tight deadline., To work on own initiative to prioritise, assist with the management and allocation of the administrative workload of the department within clearly defined policies and procedures, but understand when to escalate for assistance.

To clearly and accurately identify information which will be released to outside agencies and individuals (restricting information where appropriate), adhering to the Data Protection Act 2018, UK General Data Protection Regulation and Access to Health Records Act 1990

To record all requests on Datix (reporting system)
