Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Quality Assistant to join our team at Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust. The Trust is looking for a committed and enthusiastic candidate with excellent communication skills.

The department offers training and development for all staff. You will be supported by our experienced team to help develop your existing skills and in learning new ones.

As a team we offer a flexible approach to working. A hybrid approach of site based and remote working is available. Working patterns can be varied to suit individual personal commitments and a healthy work/life balance.

You will assist in the delivery of outcomes and recommendations identified by data quality audits and the maintenance of data quality reports and procedures. Supporting the monitoring of agreed key performance and quality metrics will also form a major part of this role.

You will work closely with operational and administrative staff across the Trust, as part of a Data Quality team focused on delivering significant but sustainable improvements in the quality of data and increase the level of assurance in the intelligence it generates.

The accuracy, timeliness, consistency and relevance of data and information are vitally important for the Trust, not only to secure the correct income levels but also inform decision making regarding the future of clinical services and patient safety.

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is now one of the largest in the country, with a workforce of approximately 15,000 who serve a population of 1.2 million people.

We work together, and in conjunction with MSE Health and Care Partnership, to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients in a compassionate way, and provide a respectful, but vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.

From facilities through to consultant specialists we want to be the best, to achieve this we need to recruit not just those who are the finest in their field but also those who have the potential to be. Yes, experience is important but so is outlook - if you are dynamic, forward-thinking and enthusiastic we want you to join us.

We not only offer you a good working environment with flexible working opportunities, but also the opportunity to develop your career with access to appropriate training for your job and the support to succeed and progress.

If you like the challenge of working in a fast pace and exciting environment, where we look after and value you, then you may be the person to join our team.
