Full Job Description

Here at Serco, we are looking for an experienced Data Quality Manager to join our team at the Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract. AASC offers a range of improvements, with particular focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system.

The Analytics and Performance team is a new function within the AASC contract. The department will be responsible for producing accurate, current, and insightful Management information to provide all contractual, external and internal functional, performance and insight reporting and the assurance of data quality. The team is also responsible for optimising service performance, driving adoption, effective business change, and ultimately helping to develop a data-driven organisation.

The key reason for the role is to support the Head of Data Analytics & Strategic Performance to ensure quality of data and data integrity across all systems and processes. You will work with Serco group IT and MI teams to understand business processes and requirements, identify constraints and opportunities, and recommend optimal solutions. This will include data quality management, design, data analysis, data reporting platforms, analytics platforms, knowledge management and reporting support services., Important Note: CRB Clearance and/or Security Clearance at Baseline level (Serco Civil Government is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office)

You will have the required level of technical experience and ideally will have worked within the technology sector.
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and deliver a variety of priority tasks, prioritising own workload to meet specific timescales without prompt
Experience in long-distance inter-departmental liaison and collaborative working
Finally, flexibility is required as you will be expected to travel across sites.
Experience Required

- DQM tools and techniques are essential
- Microsoft Power BI is essential
- Apian would be advantageous
- Facilitating and running BAT and UAT testing.
- Supporting business-led data governance and conducting successful data quality improvement initiatives
- Demonstrable experience in the establishment of good working relationships with business and functional stakeholders both internal and external
- Ability to identify risks and vulnerabilities within databases and MI reporting & managing correction of identified issues.
- Working in an Agile framework.
- Creating and managing Data Quality Syntax Models is preferred., Disability Confident
