Full Job Description

Ever wanted the time and space to play a key role in improving a service? This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic midwife with knowledge of all areas of clinical maternity to join our wonderful digital maternity team and give hands-on support in training clinical staff to better use current and new digital systems. The postholder will provide leadership and guidance in the maternity digital transformation program with senior leaders, midwives, obstetricians, anesthetists, clinical support staff and administrative staff to guide the multidisciplinary team to best use of our digital systems and deliver accurate, quality data.

The post-holder will be expected to deliver ad hoc, individualised support to staff where required to ensure the accuracy of information recorded on digital systems, such as Careflow Maternity and Grow 2.0. Support and leadership will also be required on the roll out of a full training package for all maternity in the roll out of Badgernet Maternity EPR in 2025.

If you think you have enthusiasm, experience and have a proactive 'can do' approach, as well as being confident in managing challenging and changing workloads we would like to hear from you., The Data Quality Midwife will be expected to be a role model for Trust Values and the maternity digital transformation programme and a resource for information from the multi-disciplinary team, while maintaining business as usual. They will be a strong team player, working collaboratively with other digital leads within the trust and the Local Maternity and Neonatal Systems (LMNS). Furthermore, the role will include the submission of reports and collaboration on an internal dashboard which ensures accurate and up to date information on display and available to the rest of the Trust, and with regular reports to be submitted to the LMNS.

North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system - consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS's, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.

We are proud of our staff and want to ensure their training allows them to provide excellent clinical care. We are also a training unit for medical students from UCL and St George's University Grenada, and for nursing and midwifery students from Middlesex and City Universities.
