Full Job Description

You will: Support the development of NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) clinical information strategies and plans in line with national and local data quality standards and clinical governance requirements. Provide expert support for the development of Primary Care clinical system solutions. Establish and maintain good working relationships and clear communications with colleagues in the ICBs, General Practice staff and other internal or external organisations. Support the Data Quality Manager in developing and implementing clinical information projects in line with national and local requirements. Provide coordination of and participate in relevant internal and external working groups and provide data quality advice, expertise and support where requested. Provide, receive and communicate highly complex clinical and sensitive information to multi-disciplinary professional and managerial team members across the ICB, practices and other providers. Gain co-operation and agreement
from stakeholders, using effective communication skills including a degree of negotiation, persuasion, or motivation skills where appropriate as part of the role. Develop and support the use of complex clinical search strategies in TPP SystmOne and EMIS. Provide specialist training, advice and support to team members, ICB colleagues, GP Practices and PCNs in relation to information and digital projects. Devise and provide improvements to current clinical system tools, reporting and suggesting procedures to enhance clinical decision-making processes. Undertake complex and detailed information analysis of specific projects/reports requiring high levels of concentration. Contribute to performance improvement, taking a lead for identified areas where agreed. Make judgements on a range of complex issues relating to function, using own expertise and within responsibility level Implement policies and protocols for own area of work and suggest improvement to the processes. Be a lead specialist
on a specific project or area, deliver outcomes with a managed approach, providing timely updates to managers as required. Lead and co-ordinate a project team to deliver agreed outcomes and report progress as necessary. Produce timely function specific advanced reports, papers and analysis using prolonged concentration where required. Use and maintain information systems and databases relevant to function or project. Provide day to day supervision of support staff ensuring all policies are adhered to and agreed objectives are monitored. Demonstrate a development culture throughout the supervision process. Maintain a high standard of professional and personal conduct. Develop a culture that promotes equality and values diversity.
