Full Job Description

This post is open to applicants who can meet the College’s nationality, UK residency and vetting requirements., This is a unique chance to work with the Director of CPP to design and establish the centre from the ground up. You'll lead a talented team in delivering innovative data management, analytics capabilities including a Policing Data Hub, and hands-on support for forces to improve practices and performance. You’ll be managing substantial resources to achieve rapid, demonstrable results.
As a senior leader within the College, you’ll support the Executive Team to set a clear strategic vision and plan for the organisation, translating priorities into impactful programmes. Building strong stakeholder relationships internally and across the policing landscape will be crucial for tackling systemic issues and ensuring the College's role is well-recognised.
You’ll lead by example, championing ethics, integrity, and diversity in the workplace and across the police service. Building and leading a dedicated team will be crucial to delivering strategic objectives, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across all activities. Excellent communication and people skills are a must., The successful candidate will have a Level 6 qualification or significant equivalent experience in a relevant field.

+ colleagues employed directly by the College or the Civil Service. Please note you will be required to obtain the written support of your line manager prior to submitting your application.
+ serving police officers substantive in the rank of Chief Inspector, or those officers suitably qualified for temporary promotion in the rank of Inspector. All applicants must have the support of their Chief Officer which must be of NPCC rank, i.e., CC, ACC or DCC and this must accompany an application.
+ serving police staff at the equivalent rank of Chief Inspector who have their chief officer's approval. Chief Officer’s approval must be of NPCC rank, i.e., CC, ACC or DCC.
