Full Job Description

Arbour Academy is a Pupil Health Referral Unit based in Eccles, working with young people with a range of mental health concerns. We have a very strong record of success with our pupils and maintain high levels of support for them and their family network.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Data, Systems & Attendance Manager and Exams Officer as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will preferably have previous experience of working in a school environment and knowledge of the Arbor MIS system.

We are seeking to appoint a Data, Systems & Attendance Manager and Exams Officer with an analytical mindset to provide specialist data support. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the Management Information System Arbor MIS - to ensure streamlining and effective delivery of data and information.

You will need to have ambition for our students. We want colleagues who are prepared to push themselves professionally to develop their skills and experiences, so that the young people get the very best we can offer them.

You will have superb knowledge of school processes and an eye for detail to ensure that all data management, assessment, school data compliance, local reporting and statutory returns are completed accurately and to deadline. The ability to learn other data related educational software is essential, alongside excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Applicants are expected to: have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; possess excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills in order to support learning; have the ability to promote independence and confidence and be an excellent role model to all.

You must have a caring, positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team, as well as be able to use your own initiative and work without supervision. Applicants must have the ability to work flexible hours as appropriate.
