Opportunities have arisen at The Crescent Day service: a service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

At the Crescent Day Services provide Postural Management and a range of activities, working closely with our carers, Health, and multidisciplinary colleagues., You will work closely as a team member promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). You will be confident working in a team as well as on your own where needed.

You will be provided with regular supervision and access to ongoing training and development to enhance and develop your career in Adult Social Care.

The teams are seeking highly motivated individuals to support people to engage in meaningful activities, which will offer quality outcomes for attendees.

We are looking for people who are compassionate, able to communicate effectively and motivate to ensure a high quality of care and support is provided.

You will be expected to work as a co-keywork a small number of service users.

You will have good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills to fulfil your role.

You will be required to support with personal care needs maintaining overall hygiene, whilst ensuring individuals' independence, choice, dignity, health, and wellbeing are always being promoted.

You will need to have some experience in a day service or social care setting or demonstrate a good understanding of gaining the best outcome for individuals who may have profound and multiple learning disabilities, Dementia.

With a can-do attitude you will be integral in supporting the development and promotion of the Day Services.
