An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team supporting our DBS review project specifically - please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract. You will be the first point of contact for our candidates and your role is essential to providing a safe DBS process meeting role-related priority targets. Our customers consist of existing employees at all levels throughout the Trust and will require sensitive support through the DBS process. We use an electronic DBS provider and training will be provided., Supported by the Recruitment Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Updating tracking spreadsheet for the DBS review project
- Completing ID checks
- Using the online DBS software and supporting colleagues with completion
- Liaising with colleagues regarding application status and chasing
- Dealing with emails and telephone queries in an efficient and timely manner, acknowledging the sensitive nature of this project
- Supporting managers with ID check process
- Identifying areas for escalation
- Any other ad-hoc administration duties as required

This role will require a physical presence on our sites so the ability to travel will be essential., Experience with NHS Recruitment including knowledge of the DBS requirements would be advantageous but not essential. Strong administration/organisational skills are a must.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire.
