DBS0864 Senior Social Worker, DoLS Team

As part of our service development, we are excited to be looking for a Senior Social Worker to support leadership and management of our Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team. This role represents an opportunity for someone to join an established Adult Mental Health Service at an exciting time as we redesign the delivery of our statutory obligations under the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Your role will be to support the leadership and development of the Team. You will provide direct supervision and essential scrutiny, oversight, and assurance of Deprivation of Liberty processes. You will be a professional point of contact for advice and guidance. You will work alongside managers to provide effective leadership and management to the team in the delivery of a high-quality service.,

• Oversee the DoLS Team and support the Council to meet its statutory obligations
• Support and at times lead on development of procedures and guidance within the Team
• Support and advise best interest signatories and assessors
• Work with internal and external partners to promote regional development of DoLS processes
