Superintendent Pharmacist Manager for Dudley Clinical Services Ltd

Dudley Clinical Services Ltd has been in operation since July 2013 providing dispensing services to the outpatients of The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust.
You will lead this established patient focussed service and manage the thriving pharmaceutical service delivery at Corbett Hospital Outpatient Centre.
You are multi-skilled - as comfortable discussing patient care with local clinicians as you are leading medicines optimisation services with Dudley Clinical Services. Your dedication to patient care is evident in your quest to develop new and enhanced services and your clinical background enables you to ensure patient safety. You are an experienced people-manager who builds a loyal and experienced team and seeks out opportunities for CPD for yourself and your team, encouraging personal growth and development.
You will be:

  • A GPhC registered pharmacist

  • An experienced hospital pharmacist

  • Eligible to work in the UK

  • Ready for something different, Actively manage pharmacy service delivery, making optimal use of resources available and ensuring delivery of required Trust- agreed performance standards.

  • Provide professional pharmaceutical leadership of the pharmacy service
    To ensure that all activity undertaken is consistent with maintaining registration of the premises with GPhC
    Report regularly to the DCSL Board on the performance of DCSL pharmacy services, the operation of the SLA with DG NHS FT and other business matters
    Manage the finances associated with the delivery of the service
    Leads on home delivery of medicines at DCSL and works closely with relevant stakeholders
    Provides clinical pharmacy services supporting safe prescribing and administration of medicines.
    To work with medical and nursing staff to establish agreement and co-operation in the prescribing and supply of all pharmaceutical products.
    To provide specialist pharmacist input to the HIV medicines service.
    To undertake the role of pharmacist prescriber for outpatients in the specialist area of practice.
    Be responsible for any directly employed DCSL staff, including day to day management, absence management, appraisals and similar
