Decarbonisation Business Support Officer

You will be an integral part of the Decarbonisation team within the Communities and
Place Directorate for Monmouthshire County Council. The team leads on the delivery
of projects designed to achieve net zero for Monmouthshire County Council and to
provide energy efficiency support for our communities.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be entrusted to lead on the ECO4
declarations and provide support to the wider team and Head of Service/ Chief Officer.
This may require undertaking site visits to read meters and collect utility information.
You will have responsibility for ensuring there is effective business support within the
Decarbonisation Team. You will support and work closely with the Chief Officer /Head
of Service, Decarbonisation Manager and wider Decarbonisation Team and provide
the administrative role for the management of ECO4 Flex.
Professionalism, Attention to detail, Communication, Organisation and flexibility is

paramount to this role. We require an individual who is able to work in a politically
sensitive environment and capable of responding promptly and positively to changing
priorities.
