Full Job Description

+ Maintain and develop good relationships with other staff within the department and with our Service Users - internal & external to the Trust.
+ Behave in a professional manner at all times.
+ Plan your own workload and work with minimal supervision.
+ Coordinate the staff & resources, prioritise & allocate job tasks; manage the day-to-day activities across the whole department for their shift as required to provide an efficient and quality driven service to Theatres, Endoscope users, the wider Trust and external customers.
+ Work in accordance with Departmental Policy and Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance by other staff.
+ Assist in the development and regular review of Standard Operating Procedures and department's policies.

We are looking for a reliable, flexible, enthusiastic person to join our Supervising Team in Sterile Services to lead a team of Technicians, including rotational shift work and on call.
As a Decontamination Team Leader you will have responsibility for the day to day running of the department ensuring at all times that the department's Quality Accreditation System is strictly adhered to.
Sterile Services/Flexible Endoscope decontamination experience is essential with the ability to lead a team. The successful candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of decontamination processes, operational and quality standards.
