Please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any time should it be filled via the internal redeployment process, We are pleased to offer positions of Decontamination Technicians within the Sterile Service and Decontamination Units at the Royal Gwent and Grange University Hospitals.
The Decontamination Technician is integral to delivering both elective and emergency procedures.
We are therefore looking to recruit dynamic and motivated people who are able to work within a team and are eager to learn new skills and build on existing transferable skills.
There are various hours available including the below shift patterns:-
37.5 hours per week to be worked 14:00 - 20:00, Monday to Friday
15 hours per week to be worked 14:00 -22:00, Thursday and Friday

Main duties of the job
The potholder will provide a high quality service, through the preparation, production, sterilisation and delivery of ward and departmental procedure packs, along with comprehensive Theatre and Day Theatre instrument sets within the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
