Full Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Playworker to assist the Management Team in planning a range of suitable activities You should be able to work with the children to prepare activities and organise and lead safe, creative, play opportunities. Providing full care for the children including: delivering children to class in the morning, collecting children from class and delivering them safely to their parents or carers at the end of the day. You should have the ability to promote positive behaviour within Brightsparks, alongside preparing nutritional snacks for children, administering first aid as appropriate and encouraging parental involvement and support. The hours will be 22.5 part time (Breakfast Club - 7.30 - 9.00am) and (After School Club - 3.00 - 6.00pm). We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK. Please note: Dudley MBC does not currently offer sponsorship for candidates without the Right to Work in the UK. Effective from September 2022, KCSIE states as part of the shortlisting process schools and colleges should consider carrying out on-line searches, as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This is to determine suitability to work with children and keep them safe.
