Join our inclusive and vibrant primary SEN school in Hackney as a SEN Teaching Assistant and make a meaningful impact on the academic and personal development of students. Role Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored learning support for children with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that values inclusion and nurturing.,

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEND.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating engaging and differentiated learning activities.
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.
  • Support students with their social, emotional, and communication development.
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and therapists to ensure each child's progress and well-being.
  • Monitor student engagement and provide feedback to the teaching team.

    Previous experience working with children with SEND (preferred but not essential).
