Are you eager to start a career in civil engineering and passionate about water management? We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Level 6 Apprentice Urban Drainage Modeller , starting in summer/autumn 2025 . This is an excellent opportunity to kick start your career at a global leader in design engineering. Based in High Wycombe, you'll assist senior engineers in investigating and solving problems related to water infrastructure, contribute to the design and analysis of treatment works, pumping stations, and pipelines, and develop a strong understanding of hydraulic modelling principles and their application to real-world scenarios. As an apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience working on a variety of projects for Thames Water and National Storm Overflow Programmes. You'll learn to use industry-standard software like CAD, ICM InfoWorks, ArcGIS, and MapInfo to model the flow of water through urban areas. During your apprenticeship, you will combine practical experience with academic study. We collaborate with various training providers on both block and day release basis. We will help select the most suitable provider for your profile enabling you to earn a prestigious BEng Civil and Infrastructure Engineering degree, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to excel in the industry. For our apprenticeships no previous experience is required If you are self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn then this could be for you., For our Level 6 apprenticeship you will need either:
- 3 A Levels totalling 112-120 UCAS points, one of which must be Maths at Grade C or above
- A BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering - DMM to include Further Engineering Mathematics. We also look for:
