Degree Apprenticeship - Trainee Planner

Here at Willmott Dixon, we are currently recruiting for our degree apprenticeship roles on our Management Trainee scheme to start with us in September 2025. We have a vacancy for a Trainee Planner to join our London and East team who are based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire and deliver construction projects across multiple sectors within north London, the northern home counties and East Anglia. As a Trainee Planner you will be instrumental in planning the project timeline throughout the preconstruction and project phase delivering good quality programmes with strong commercial acumen. Our aim is to approach tender planning in a way that actively seeks opportunities for innovation and value engineering so that we can successfully execute a quality project for our customers. We welcome all applications, but for this role we have an emphasis on candidates with A-Level, BTEC, T-Level and HNC qualifications, along with a passion for a career in construction. Our programme will give you a great foundation; you will get exposure to all areas of our business to develop your understanding of the construction business as a whole, not just your chosen discipline. We will provide you with all the support you require to study for a relevant degree qualification whilst you are gaining valuable, hands on experience on our construction projects. We have been nurturing our future talent in this way for over 40 years and a number of our past Management Trainees are now in senior managerial roles or sit on the main board.
