Full Job Description
- Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Determine the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessary.
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Various outside weather conditions, More than 6 months experience in multi drop delivery driving. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities - Valid Class C (HGV) driver's license with a clean driving record
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
- Previous Experience as a Driver, preferably in a transportation/shipping role
- Excellent knowledge of UK road network
- Ability to navigate using GPS and other route planning tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights out.
