Full Job Description
We are looking for committed individuals to join our clients Home Delivery team in Daventry as a Delivery Driver! As a Home Delivery Driver Technician, you will be driving our 3.5 tonne vans and will participate in the delivery and installation of large domestic appliances as part of a one- or two-man team. Our client is a nationwide B2B trusted partner of choice, proudly delivering bespoke, customer-focused value-added services. Our professional service offer includes delivery to the room of choice, unpacking and removal of packaging, installation and removal of the old appliance.
- Previous Driving experience is preferred
- White goods delivery experience is desirable (although appliance training will be provided)
- Full UK Clean Driving Licence
- Team player
- Flexible and adaptable
- Uses initiative
- Punctual and reliable
- Self-motivated and able to manage your workload effectively
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to control van stock
- Basic IT skills
- C1 license (desirable)
- DCPC qualification (desirable)
£12.00 per hour. Temp to permanent position working 5 days per week; Monday to Friday. Shift start times between 5am -6am.
